Privacy Notice
We keep this simple: we only collect what we need to make your order or send your Mol's Mail, we keep it safe, and we never sell it.
Who we are
- Savethedate&co. (born from Mols Illustrations) is a small creative business selling personalised illustrated art and stationery, and running the Mol's Mail subscription.

What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, delivery address, what you bought and any personalisation notes or photographs you send us.
- Subscription details: your Mol's Mail tier, chosen colour preferences, renewal dates and subscription status.
- Account details: your email address and sign-in method if you create an account.
- Payment details: card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Why we use it (our lawful bases)
- Contract: to take payment, make your order, post your parcels and provide customer care.
- Consent: to send you marketing emails about new illustrations and launches. You only receive these if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep records of sales and tax for as long as the law requires.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the shop secure and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Our hosting and database provider — to store orders, accounts and subscriptions securely.
- Our email provider — to send order confirmations and, where you have opted in, marketing.
- Postal and courier services — to deliver your parcels.
- We never sell your data.
Personalisation photographs
- Photographs you send for a personalised illustration are used only to create your artwork. We will never share them publicly or use them on social media without asking you first, and you can ask us to delete them once your piece is finished.
How long we keep it
- Order and tax records: six years, as required by UK law.
- Subscription records: for the life of your subscription plus six years for accounting.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
- You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format.
- You can withdraw marketing consent at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email or email us.
- Email molsillustration@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
- We use only the cookies needed for the site to work — keeping you signed in, remembering your basket and wishlist, and letting Stripe process payments securely. We do not use advertising cookies.
